(Florida availability) 

This is a real-time search of Florida Department of Motor Vehicle records to I.D. vehicles that are currently registered in the subject’s name. Information on record can include the registrants date of birth, Florida driver license number, registered address, title date, current registration date, tag number, vehicle identification number and lien- holder data. Because records are indexed by name and date of birth (and not by address) information can be returned on vehicles registered at more than one address.

This search is an important component of any arrest, background, locate or PIP investigation.

Tip: In Florida personal (as opposed to corporate) vehicle registrations are renewed annually on or before the registrants birth date. When attempting to locate an individual it is sometimes worthwhile to wait until the end of the month of the subject’s birthday for information on a possible new address.
